What we do

Three tools. One plan.

Chiropractic care restores how your joints move. Physiotherapy makes it hold. Shockwave therapy wakes up the tendons that won’t quit. Most plans use two of the three.

Which one is for me?

Answer three questions.

You’ll see the usual shape of care for your pattern. The exam still decides; this just means fewer surprises.

Where does it hurt most?
How long has it been going on?
What does it feel like?

Chiropractic care

Specific adjustments that restore how your spine and joints move.

When a joint in the spine or pelvis stops moving the way it should, the muscles around it tighten, nerves get irritated, and pain spreads. An adjustment restores that movement so the body can calm down and heal.

Dr. Ahn and Dr. Borg match the technique to the patient: firm manual adjustments for some, gentle instrument or table-assisted methods for others, including older adults and people in acute pain after an accident.

Often used for

  • Low back and neck pain
  • Headaches that start in the neck
  • Sciatica and pinched nerves
  • Whiplash and auto injuries
  • Shoulder, hip and knee problems with a spinal part
  • Stiffness from desk work and driving

Physiotherapy

Rehabilitation that makes your results last.

An adjustment frees the joint; physiotherapy retrains the muscles that hold it in place. Our rehab team works with the doctors to build you a short, specific routine, teaches it in the clinic, and gives you a home version you can actually keep up.

In-clinic care may include therapeutic exercise, stretching and mobility work, soft-tissue therapy, and low-level laser therapy (LLLT), depending on your plan. For numbness, tingling or burning in the feet and hands, ask about our neuropathy program.

Often used for

  • Core and hip strengthening for back pain
  • Neck and posture retraining
  • Rotator cuff and knee rehab
  • Recovery after a car accident
  • Balance and mobility for older adults
  • Neuropathy: numb, tingling or burning feet and hands
  • Return to sport or work

Shockwave therapy

For the tendon and muscle problems that won’t quit.

Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) delivers focused acoustic pulses into injured tissue. The pulses stimulate blood flow and the body’s own repair response in tendons and muscle that have become chronic and stubborn. It is non-invasive, needs no needles or medication, and a session takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

Most people have a short series of sessions, usually one a week, and notice change within a few weeks. Shockwave is paired with physiotherapy so the healed tissue gets stronger, not just quieter.

Often used for

  • Plantar fasciitis and heel pain
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Tennis and golfer’s elbow
  • Patellar (jumper’s) knee
  • Shoulder tendinopathy and calcific tendinitis
  • Chronic muscle trigger points

How they fit together

Four stops, every time.

First visit

Answers.

You leave knowing what it is, what the plan is, how long it should take, and what it costs with your insurance.

Weeks 1–2

Relief.

Pain down, motion up. Visits are closer together while the joints learn to move again and the muscles stop guarding.

Weeks 3–6

Rebuild.

Physiotherapy makes it hold: the muscles that let you down get strong enough to carry you. The part most people skip, and the part that keeps it from coming back.

After

Your life back.

A short home routine, a check-in now and then, and the door open if it ever flares.
